Computer Science BSc
Computer Science · Undergraduate
BSc Computer Science (G400) at the University of Bristol is a three-year full-time degree at the Clifton campus, accredited by BCS. The first two years build a solid foundation in the principles of algorithms and programming across three key paradigms — imperative, functional and object-oriented — alongside the mathematics and statistics underpinning modern computer science, computer architecture, concurrent and networked computing, human-computer interaction and software development tools. A second-year software team project develops an application for a real-world client, and the final year combines advanced optional units with an individual project co-created with a supervising member of staff.
